An extremely rare race, these winged beings were created when a group of Humans living in the northern reaches of Ka’Uvala came into contact with raw celestial energy that made its way to the surface from deep underground. This interaction with the powerful forces that initially created Kemet caused these Humans to evolve rapidly, giving them glowing eyes, large wings and a radiant aura.

Their city and culture today evolved with their celestial transformation as well, but you can still see traces of their Human roots within their society. The Aasimar are often seen as god touched, especially by Humans, and they don’t often have the stigma around their transformation the way the Tieflings or Dragonborn do.
