Earliest existence: 10,000 years ago

As Kemet cooled and solidified after its creation, the densest remains of the celestial being that bore this world gradually sank into the depths forming a molten center while the lighter materials formed its top layers. It was the celestial essence that was trapped in between these layers that infused life into the Dwarves and gave them their affinity for stone and metal.

Their earliest days spent creating their homes within the natural rock foundations gave them a resistance to the heat and pressure of the underworld. Over time they would become skilled crafters of weapons, tools and armor. As their knowledge and technology would improve they would also become skilled tinkers and artificers capable of building complex machinery and devices.
