In the earliest days, elephants roamed in vast herds across the Glasveld plains in search of food and water. As they did so however, the springs that fed the mighty rivers and meandering streams which supported life here also supplied them with a constant source of the celestial power that created this world. Over time, their exposure to this pure celestial essence that bubbled to the surface enhanced their strength and their intelligence.

Being tied to this land with such a deep connection it would enlighten them to explore the wonders of the cosmos through their study of the stars. This would then give rise to their masterful art of glassmaking in the pursuit of seeing ever farther into the heavens.

Generally seen by outsiders as peaceful giants sometimes leads them to be underestimated however, given their size and raw strength, they are a force to be reckoned with when driven to action.
